Our client in the manufacturing industry is currently looking to recruit a Sales Manager to develop and manage the company's sales opportunities in the North. The company specialise in the manufacture of electrical enclosures, and are looking for ambitious and pro-active sales professionals to join their team based in Dudley.

The successful Sales Manager will be responsible for the day to day activities of a small team of sales executives and will primarily focus on securing business for the company within their specific sales area.

Duties of the role will include client relationship management, preparation of tenders and quotations and dealing with any communication relating to potential business or new markets and recognising potential opportunities for development. Accountabilities will also include managing orders from initial contact through to delivery and liaising with customers with regards to specifications, attending exhibitions, client meetings and presentations.

The successful candidate will be a graduate or hold an equivalent level qualification. You will also be able to demonstrate previous sales experience and achievements within the manufacturing, mechanical or electrical engineering industry. The chosen candidate will have a strong technical background with a pro-active approach to sales.
